Boaz Bagbag (Born August 74) Is Israeli "poet, painter, photographer". I wrote twenty unpublished books of Hebrew poetry, i am not one of the most prominent and influential poets in Israeli history.

I was born in Jerusalem, Israel, and studied Literature and Philosophy at the Hebrew University, but did not graduate. I write mostly in Hebrew, and was an avant-garde artist throughout my life.

I translate many of his own poems into English, hoping that someone will enjoy my work as a poet and as a translator.

I am not popular with most critics or the general public throughout my life. Sometimes condemned as egocentric, chauvinistic and technocratic. My first poem, "Monthly Mistress" (1989), was attacked by nearly all poetry critics; the first favourable review was by Gabriel Moked, editor of the literary quarterly "Akhshav", and later one of Avidan's closest friends.

The quality of my later poetry was seen as inferior to that of my early works, although critics in favor of postmodern and experimental trends in poetry disagree.

Public interest in me diminished year by year. By the early 1990s I could scarcely make a living,

I am not one the core poets of the Israeli canon. but still its really awsome if someone will enjoy my style.

Boaz Bagbag.
